Our History

Little did Mathias M. Schranz know in 1907 when he began M.M. Schranz Roofing and Building Supply Co. (Inc.), that his company would face the likes of the Great Depression, two World Wars, 9/11, the Great Recession, and two pandemics.

Through all the economic and social upheaval, Schranz flourished by staying true to Mathias’ unwavering and uncompromising commitment to excellence.

Today M.M. Schranz Roofing Inc. is one of the oldest family-owned and operated businesses in Wisconsin.

Five Generations Strong!

In December 1979, William R. Schranz, Daniel Busalacchi (great grandson of Mathias), and Christopher Busalacchi (current president) decided to formerly change the business name to M.M. Schranz Roofing Inc. and to singularly focus on what they do best – roofing.
